In 1995, Melanie Coker began her career in insurance, working for Mark Weischwill and Lavera Lemke, at Weischwill & Lemke, Inc. After becoming a licensed insurance agent, and working in the business for 18 years, she purchased Weischwill Insurance in January 2013 and in 2016 the business was renamed, Coker Insurance Agency and is now located at 119 E Main St., Yorktown, Texas.
